Currently, Living Labs are evaluated using various methods, which hinders comparison. This paper proposes a harmonized framework combining elements (6 chapters, 15 criteria, and 34 KPIs) primarily based on the standardized evaluation framework developed by Vervoort et al. (2022) for assessing diverse types of Living Labs. Such a harmonized approach will simplify evaluation processes and enable comparisons of the stability and maturity of Living Labs in a uniform manner. The premise is that creating a harmonized assessment method will enhance the sustainability of Living Labs by providing them with a tool that allows for comparisons of maturity across different types of Living Labs without losing sight of individual Living Labs’ specific contexts.
