A case study at the Plata Forma Solar de Almeria is researching how solar thermal energy can be used to fuel a circular desalination process that produces freshwater for irrigation and valuable materials such as salt and minerals for fertilisers.
REVOLVE traveled to Almería to catch up with the progress being made at the WATER-MINING project case study and the Living Lab that has been established there, and will continue to operate after the project ends.
