The Floating Farm is the first dairy farm on water producing healthy and sustainable food directly from the Port of Rotterdam to consumers. It represents a small-scale innovative circular concept addressing simultaneously animal welfare, sustainable food production, changing landscape conditions and wastewater management.
The Floating Farm is a partner of the WATER-MINING project and one of the physical Living Lab of the project. Its presence will help placing the users at the beginning of the value chain, co-create resource recovery and circular economy water solutions with them and increase the social acceptance of project.
