Opening of the Sustainable Desalination Living Lab in Spain
On the 9th of November, WATER-MINING H2020 celebrated the Sustainable Desalination Living Lab’s installations in the southern Spanish city. WATER-MINING 3rd General Assembly in Palermo, Italy
On September 19-21, the WATER-MINING held the 3rd General Assembly in Palermo city, Italy. Here, the project’s partners met all together to share the latest updates and exchange important insights on the project Case Studies. New WATER-MINING Report Available
On June 14th, during the Water Projects Europe 2022 side-event, WATER-MINING H2020 participated to the Workshop ‘How can Innovation projects Support a Water-Smart Industrial Emission Directive’. During the workshop, Ms Evdokia Achilleos, Head of Sector at REA, introduced the addressing the Industrial Emissions Directive and gave the floor to 5 EU-funded projects. Amongst the participating projects, WATER-MINING introduced its main goals and addressed the case study located in Rotterdam. To learn more about the workshop, watch the full session HERE.
WATER-MINING exhibition at the NEMO Science Museum
WATER-MINING at the Athens Science Festival
The new WATER-MINING exhibition at The Studio of NEMO Science Museum offers visitors the chance to engage with this topic through an insightful and fun audio tour. The exhibition includes a floating circular dairy farm and crockery and jewellery made from Kaumera, READ MORE.
The Institute of Communications and Computer Systems of Athens (ICCS) represented the WATER-MINING project last month at the Athens Science Festival from the 21st to 23rd of October 2022. More than 5.500 visitors showed up at the festival over the weekend, READ MORE.
What are the Living Labs? New Virtual Lab organised

WATER-MINING and ENoLL organised the Virtual Learning Lab 2.0 to give the online participants the opportunity to learn the essence of living labs, their key elements and their innovation processes.
On the 19th of July 2022, WATER-MINING had the pleasure to host Ms Evdokia Achilleos, Head of Sector at REA at the project partner site in Larnaca in Cyprus. The meeting was organized by Katerina Kalli and attended also by Maria Loizidou from Sealeau.
